Verdi is an unincorporated community in Washoe County, west of Reno along I-80 and the Truckee River. Juniper Ridge Construction is a licensed Nevada general contractor based in Sparks. In Verdi we build custom homes and take on remodels, decks and siding replacement, with permits through Washoe County. We work on the Nevada side only and do not take projects in California.

Who handles building permits in Verdi?
Verdi is an unincorporated part of Washoe County, so building permits go through Washoe County. We prepare and submit the permit paperwork for work that requires it and schedule the inspections.
Do you work across the state line in California?
No. Juniper Ridge Construction is licensed in Nevada, and we only take projects on the Nevada side of the state line.
Can you replace my siding with something more fire-resistant?
Yes. We can walk you through options such as fiber cement or metal siding, along with vents, trim and deck details. We confirm with Washoe County what applies to your lot before we order materials.
Do you build new decks or only repair old ones?
Both. We build new decks, rebuild worn ones and add covered patios and pergolas, framed for snow load and permitted when the work requires it.
